It is an initiative taken by IETE, Vellore to reach out to the children in schools, shelter homes and orphanages and spread awareness among them about plethora of topics useful for them.

The following session will be held for the children studying in classes 5-8

Science Park

There will be a Science Arena where students will be taught fundamentals on various topics which are described below. We’ll explain the topics with help of animated videos and presentations. Students will be divided into groups of 8.The topics decided for the three stalls to be set up are

·        Space

·        Renewable energy

·        Introduction to robots

Videos will be shown (as visual learning is much more interesting and advantageous)

The schools and centres we are going to approach:

1.      Little flower Home for children( school+orphanage)

2.      Don Bosco centre and school

 

We are currently in talks with NGOs also and will alter the event plan in accordance to our agreements.
